I will soon write the tutorial, but in the meantime, I've recorded the steps in a Photoshop Action.

To use this Action, unzip it, and put it in the Photoshop Action folder. Load the new action into the Action Palette.

Open a new canvas--any size--with a background layer of your choice. Simply run the action. You will be prompted when to type in your text.
